About Me

My name is Polina Solomakhina “Allece”. I dabble in a multitude of media, ranging from 2D rigged and frame-by-frame animation, background and layout design, interior and exterior environmental 3D modelling, weapons and props 3D modelling, character design/concept art and storyboarding.
My work experiences have allowed me to explore the aesthetics of dark sci-fi, occult, and gothic horror imagery while working on SkullX: Aibophpobia (a released 2D visual novel RPG game) and Fractures: Echoes of the Mind (in production, 3D horror thriller, narrative-rich and choice-driven game).
I have led animation work in small, creative teams before, taking responsibility for pipeline consistency, polish, and performance in-engine. I had worked closely with concept layout artists, 3D modellers and texture artists, bringing complex environments to life, from their creative genesis to the final actualisation.
I’m comfortable working independently, but thrive when sharing notes and discussing ways to improve the final result - whether it’s refining a rig or adding a subtle beat to a gesture to make the characters come alive. I believe in collaborative work, open communication, and making projects that you can be proud of! I never stop at my accomplishments as I am always trying to improve - to make every aspect of the work I create feel meaningful, impactful, and alive.
